Camp Honey Lake

Visiting Camp

While at camp, visits from parents or non-camper friends can delay the camper's adjustment to camp life and make cause or amplify homesickness. As a result, we ask that unless it is absolutely necessary please allow your camper to enjoy their camp experience without outside interference. If a camper is staying for 2 or more consecutive weeks they may have visitors. Visitors may come during check-out on Saturday mornings (9:30am-10:30am).

Phone calls (or use of call phones) may have the same affects as visits, therefore phone calls and cell phones are not allowed. In emergency situations, a message can be relayed to your camper through the camp office, in such situations please call the camp office and a director will assist you and your camper(s).

If there is a special occasion (such as a birthday) and you wish to speak to you child, please let us know in advance and we can make proper arrangements.

Additionally, unless it is absolutely necessary, please plan to drop off your child at the drop off time and not pick them up again until the designated pick up time. Do not make doctor's appointments or plan to attend athletic events during your camper's session. This is disruptive to the camper and the cabin unit.
