2. Is every day the same?
Every day at camp is not the same however, there is some structure provided in the schedule to establish routine. Often we will have new activities and programs outside of the routine.
3. Do we get to choose our activities?
Yes, when you arrive on Sunday you will choose your activities for week. You will have so many great activities to choose from, it will be hard to make your choices!
4. What time do we get up?
7:15am Monday thru Friday, sometimes on weekends you'll get to sleep in a little later depending on the activities you have chosen.
5. Do we eat buffet style or like a family?
Family style, at Camp Honey Lake your cabin will become your family. We feel that it is important to share our meals together in an effort to promote a sense of bonding.
6. Do we ride horses every day?
If you would like to, you can ride horses every day! Just make sure to sign up for horseback riding at registration.
7. Can I bring my ipod?
Ipod, cell phones, and other electronics are not welcomed at camp. While these items are a great deal of fun, we want our campers to experience a true camp and outdoor experience.
8. Will I have my own bathroom?
At Camp Honey Lake all the bathrooms are in a separate building called the bathhouse. The bathhouse is brand new, with plenty of individual showers and toilets.
9. What is the weather like?
The weather in Florida fluxgates on a daily basis. It is normally hot and humid, however you will have ample opportunity to cool down in the water and we always sleep in air-conditioned cabins
10. How many campers are in a cabin?
There are 10 campers in each cabin with an additional 2 couneslors.
11. How is the food at camp?
The food at camp is delicious! We have a wonderful Chef, who prepares all of our meals.
